Actress Adrienne Warren vaulted quickly from her Broadway debut in "Bring It On" (2012) to Tony nominee in the critically acasserted "Shuffle Along" in 2016. Warren began her professional career shortly after graduating from Marymount Manhattan College in 2009 with an appearance in the Encores! Summer Stars production of "The Wiz." She complied with this via a co-starring duty in a 2009 touring manufacturing of "Dreamgirls," after which she was actors in the musical version of "Bring It On" throughout its premiere run in Atlanta in 2011. Warren continued to be via the show throughout its national tour that same year, which debuted on Broadway in 2012. Warren then appreciated a spate of Roles on high-profile tv series, consisting of a hard, wheelchair-bound teenager on "Ovariety is the New Black" (Netflix, 2013- ) before returning to Broadway in "Shuffle Alengthy, or, the Making of the Musical Sensation of 1921 and All That Followed" (2016). For her performance in a double function - as singers Gertrude Saunders and the commemorated Florence Mills - Warren received a Tony nomicountry for Best Featured Actress in a Musical.
