Last week a course activity lawsuit was filed accmaking use of The golden state winemachines of knowingly producing wine contaminated via arsenic in levels exceeding California regulations.

You are watching: List of wines with high arsenic

USA Today reported that experimentation was done at a Denver lab where 1,306 various forms of wine were evaluated. They discovered 83 wines via “dangerously elevated” levels of inorganic arsenic. Two other labs shown the outcomes. A list of the wines via the lowest levels of arsenic was posted on the lab’s website.

According to the lawsuit, some wines consisted of arsenic levels that surpassed the safe everyday intake limit by 500 percent.

The Wine Institute has countered that the lawsuit is “false and also misleading,” issuing a statement that shelp, in component, “Arsenic is prevalent in the herbal atmosphere in air, soil and water, and in food. Tbelow is no study that mirrors that the amounts found in wine pose a health danger to consumers.”

For those who enjoy a course of wine or 2, below is the list of wines. You deserve to learn more about the lawsuit right here, at a website produced by the litigating attorneys.
